An Early & Scarce Civil War Colt Model 1848 Percussion Baby Dragoon Revolver With a 3" Barrel In Very Good Condition. Serial #8,524, made in 1849. All matching numbers, all original and complete. The pistol has very good metal and markings throughout. It also has very good edges, and a desirable & scarce 3 inch barrel on it. The cylinder scene is light but visible on it. All of the metal on the revolver has a light patina throughout it. The flash of the camera makes it look lighter than it really is. The frame shows hints of original darkened case colors. All screws are fine. The original slim factory grips are excellent throughout with a wonderful color to them. It has a very good action and bore. This Is A Very Good Looking Example Of A Scarce Civil War Colt Model 1848 Percussion Baby Dragoon Revolver With a 3" Barrel That Would Be A Nice Addition To Any Collection!
