31945 WW2 & KOREAN WAR REMINGTON RAND INC. U.S. MODEL 1911A1 .45 ACP CAL. SEMI-AUTO PISTOL. Original WW2 Remington Rand 2nd type 1943 original manufacture date Korean War Augusta Arsenal “X” prefix, 269xxxx serial number range re-build in 1952. 0ne of 300 1911A1’s re-built there in 1952 many of which went to the Marine Corps. Frame with “AA” stamp on left side. Right rear frame stamped with “71” lot stamp. Excellent all original as re-build. Fine markings and has most of the original Parkerizing with light wear. Excellent grips. Perfect working order and fine bright bore. Historic 2 Wars Remington Rand 1911A1. $2500.
