Another great item from Gainesville Pawn. This one is quite a special. This is a Rare Vietnam vintage Randall with the rare Solingen blade. The knife is stamped stainless as well as S stamped, Micarta finger groove handle. This i6 1/2 inch Randall Model 16 all purpose fighting Knife was owned and carried in Vietnam by CPL Tom Michael Thomas. CPL Thomas gave his life on August, 8 1968. This is a rare piece of history. Please read the provenance we have with this knife. Cpll Thomas name is embossed by Randall as well as his initials inscribed. It was clear he cherished this knife. The Cpl removed the Stone and stone pouch from the original Johnson rough back sheath while deployed.We handle a lot of Vietnam era Randall''s. This is the first one we can say for certain it is a war Veteran. I would like to thank Cpl Thomas for his service and sacrifice!The overall, condition of this knife is used excellent .
