(UMC) with swaged bullets. The two piece purple fabric box has an intact primary label with excellent graphics showing a very nice cartridge cut. The box shows older tape repairs to the outside top and with seam separation on some corners, flaking, slightly indented sides with most of the bottom side seal label missing. The cartridges are in excellent condition with age darkening. These were used primarily in "Bull Dog" pistols and revolvers such as the Hammond Bull Dog introduced in the final years of the Civil War. A great display box with some very hard to find cartridges.
