 .52 Cal, percussion Box Lock pistol by John Blanch of London circa 1850 with 3 1/2" octagon barrels marked "LONDON" on top flat. Hammer, Trigger guard and frame embellished with scroll & floral scenes with a chased border at bottom. Both pistols are marked "BLANCH" on rear tangs. Swivel mounted steel rammers. One piece checkered walnut grips with steel butt cap with ball trap at base. Both pistols are Crown "V" proofed on lower left flat at breech. Small post front sight with fixed blade rear sight. both pistols are equipted with 2 attaching screws for belt hooks on left side of box lock. Condition, Very fine with all engraving and markings remaining crisp. Bores are good with some oxidation. Exteriors has some very light tarnish. Actions operates properly. Grips are very good with fine checkering and without distress. Antique
