We inspect the firearm and it's action to see if everything appears functional but they are sold without warranty. Unless the item is listed as being sold AS-IS, there is a 3 Day Non-Shooting Inspection Period which starts when the item arrives at your dealer. No shooting, no disassembly. Visual inspection only to confirm correct item and that it matches description in major ways. Minor differences in subjective matters like percent of condition, etc, and personal opinions like ergonomics, fit to your hand or shoulder, etc, do not justify returns. Once you take the item home it is yours and no returns will be allowed. Items listed with AS-IS label are not returnable. We will not issue refunds for unknown mechanical problems. Description:
Here is a very pretty rifle. It was made in Germany and is unmarked as to maker. These are commonly known as Guild Guns. This one is a single shot hammerless stalking rifle chambered for 8x57mmR according to the proof marks. The rifle has a 27.5" barrel with an excellent bore. The barrel has a full rib with a double leaf rear sight. The rifle is also fitted with claw bases but no rings or scope is present. The butt stock appears to be a well made replacement as it looks much newer than the forend and is fitted with a rubber recoil pad. The trigger guard is also a replacement and is marked BELGIUM. Really pretty rifle, wish I had the scope that went with it. Thanks for looking!
