Description:
Guns by Sally-always the best for less. We are way proud to offer this very hard to find Colt Bisley chambered in Colt's own .32 Long. Only 160 were chambered as such, making this one valuable collector piece. The 32 is the smallest centerfire in the single action calibers. Many dyed-in-the-wool collectors do not know that it also came with a special slimmed down ejector rod. The included Colt letter verifies the caliber and barrel length. We even add extra value to you by providing a letter that has no cut or blacked out areas, saving you from purchasing another letter. It is interesting to note that this was a single gun shipment. Baker and Hamilton made their fortunes by supplying California gold rush miners with equipment, and flourished for many years after. This Bisley was made in the year of our Lord 1907. She is in very good coindtion for being 116 years old. The blue is deep and rich, the stampings are all clear, and the frame has generous amounts of smoky case color, with a few flashes of blue. There are only light handling marks on the grips and steel, with some checkering wear to the former. The action is smooth and tight, and works as designed. The bore of the gunfighter length 4 3/4 inch barrel is also good, with plenty of shine and strong rifling. Scarce caliber Colts have continued to bring the highest prices in the market every passing year. About 5 years ago, we sold 1 of the 412 Bisley models chambered in .38 Colt. It sold for about 5500 dollars. This one will be listed a little higher, but pretty fair considering the wild inflation as of late and the increased rarity factor. If you have been looking for the right Colt Bisley to collect, or for investment, but want the added clout of a lettered low production caliber, then look no further.
