*** NEW PRICE *** Handsome 12 gauge Beretta S3 EELL / SO5(Garcia Import) premium grade TRUE SIDELOCK profusely engraved and signed by Master Engraver S. Guerini. Has signature EELL features - pierced toplever with gold inlaid crown. Highly figured European walnut stock and beavertail forearm. Made in 1973 this gun is in great mechanical and cosmetic condition. Weighs 7lb 12oz. As versatile as it is beautiful with Briley chokes you can shoot all clay sports and flyers. COMPARE OUR PRICE TO THE OTHER S3 EELL's LISTED *** The barrels are made of Boehler Antinit Steel and are chambered for 2-3/4” shotshells. They are topped by a raised crosshatched ventilated 10mm rib. The bluing is in very good condition with only a few handling marks. The barrels are 28” in length and are marked as weighing 1.42kg. The bores are marked as 18.5mm diameter in the lower and 18.4mm in the upper barrel. The lower barrel is bored 0.732 and the upper measures 0.727. The gun comes with four flush mount Briley thin wall choke tubes: Skeet, Improved Cylinder, Modified, and Full and a wrench. *** The pistol grip stock and beavertail forearm are made of highly figured European walnut. The stock has a righthand palm swell and an adjustable comb. The comb is adjustable up and down as well as from side to side. Length of pull is 14-1/4” including a 7/8” recoil pad.
Special Note: Long before Beretta established a strong physical presence in the US market their guns were imported into the States by Garcia Corporation. During this period the Beretta S3 EELL was rebadged as the SO5 in the US. Sometime in the mid-eighties after the relationship between Beretta and Garcia was dissolved Beretta re-introduced the SO5 as a replacement for the partially engraved smaller-framed SO4/SO3 guns. The current SO5 is built on a larger, heavier action and frankly, does not handle nearly as well as its predecessor. *** This is a great opportunity to own and shoot a modern classic – “The flagship shotgun of the Beretta line”. Signed hand engraving today is out of reach for most shooters and this is indeed a very nice handling shotgun with a professionally installed adjustable comb. A rare chance to purchase an SO3 EELL at a great price.
