For consideration is a minty Browning X-Bolt Medallion bolt action rifle in 6.5 Creedmor caliber. A maple stock harkens back a few years, but the beauty has always been the king of style. And this rifle is no exception. Take one of these to the range and you will have a lot of visitors. The beautifully figured AAA maple is a joy to look at. Maple is nothing like walnut -- it has a look of its own. And the way it contrasts with the various X-Bolt components is striking. Not to mention the classic rosewood fore-end and pistol grip caps that finish the look down to the last detail. The 6.5mm Creedmoor was designed specifically for long-range target shooting, although it has been used successfully in game hunting. Bullet-for-bullet, the 6.5mm Creedmoor achieves a slower muzzle velocity than longer cartridges such as the 6.5-284 Norma or magnum cartridges such as the 6.5mm Remington Magnum. However, due to its overall length of 2.825 inches, it is capable of chambering in short-action rifles like the 6.5×47mm Lapua. This particular example is in minty physical and mechanical condition. The action is smooth and the trigger is very good. The receiver is handsomely embellished with engraving and deep bluing. The 22 inch barrel is minty with excellent 1 in 8" rifling. The muzzle is threaded allowing installation of the included brake or thread protector. The action features 60° bolt lift; Adjustable Feather Trigger; Detachable rotary magazine; Top-tang safety; Bolt unlock button. The stock is high gloss AAA Maple with rosewood forend and pistol grip cap. This would make a bold statement as a hunting rifle or a great addition to a collection.
