Niedner rifle corp Dowagiac Michigan 7x57mm Commercial Mauser sporting rifle.
20" barrel with excellent bore
Lyman 57 SME rear sight, hooded ramp front with ivory bead.
Mauser Commercial intermediate sized action with matted ring that is not drilled for a scope.
Original butter knife bolt handle
Hinged floorplate with outside leaver release.
Checkered trigger
All serial numbers match including the stock.
Originally built in 1913 and went through Niedners shop in the early 1930s. The stock is factory Mauser that was altered with a ebony forend tip and checkering on the forend, I'm sure Thomas Shelhamer did the work on this rifle.
