Description:
This Winchester was produced in 1955. The rifle's serial number is 339577. This rifle has the standard 23 inch barrel chambered to shoot the 22 Short, Long And Long Rifle cartridge. The sights are the original standard sights for this rifle. The bore is very fine and bright. This rifle has been well cared for. The action works smoothly with no issues. The take down feature is tight with no sign of rough handling during assembly. The original bluing would rate a 98% on the receiver. The barrel would rate a 98% also. The only area of blue loss is where the forend works the action by pumping. The bolt also retains the original bluing. The stock and forend retain all of the original finish. There are no cracks or damage to the wood. This is a very fine Winchester that is certainly a collector grade gun but is also available to shoot and have fun with! Ammunition for display only and not for sale.
