Description:
US Model 1816 Springfield Formerly Flintlock converted to percussion in the 1850's. The full length 3 band dark walnut stock has a tight hairline crack at the wrist. The full length 42 inch barrel has turned dark brown with some pitting at the breach. The functioning lock is marked US Springfield 1836 with the American eagle. All other metal parts have turned dark brown. The musket is complete with the ramrod present. Please feel free to contact me with questions. Shipping will be actual cost by usps mail with tracking.
