Rounded action bar with carved percussion fences and back action island locks, nicley done border and scroll engraving. Action and barrels supplied by A. Smith (outworker to London trade) and stocked and completely finished by Purdey, current barrels supplied by Webley & Scott and finished and fitted by Purdey in 1895.
Excellent condition classic island lock Purdey that will be great on game or clays, gun balances right on the hinge pin.
