Beitzinger custom 98 Mauser, 35 Whelen Rifle, 24 inch barrel, 13 5/8 length of pull, buffalo horn forend cap, looks like a pre 64 model 70 butt plate, heavier barrel for the 35 cal, nice banded front sight, excellent receiver sight, comes up great for sight picture, has been tapped for scope mounts, nice narrow forend , easy to handle, has sling eyes for more like super grade swivels. Real nice condition for a custom rifle, the grip cap has Beitzinger name as well as Griffin and Howe.
