Description:
SOLD

US M1 .30 Carbine, made by Inland Division of General Motors during mid WW2. Serial number 5133047 dates to January-June 1944. This carbine is in excellent used condition.

This carbine has an Inland barrel dated Jan 44, with a bright bore. There is no bayonet lug, and no evidence of one ever being on the gun. The Inland stock is marked with "IO" in the slingwell and a somewhat faint crossed cannons cartouche on the right buttstock. There is also a mark indicating an arsenal rebuild at Mt. Ranier. Stock is in very good condition, with dings expected for its age but no cracks or repairs.

Most marked metal parts are Inland, with the exception of the trigger housing, which is unmarked, a commercial replacement. All parts are described below and shown in photos. No import marks.

A sling and magazine pouch are included, along with two 15 round magazines.
