Description:
1913 COLT BISLEY MODEL SINGLE ACTION ARMY .38-40 WCF SAA Revolver 1873  C&R

1st Generation Peacemaker

Here we present a C&R Colt Bisley Model Single Action Army Revolver in .38-40 WCF, manufactured in Hartford, Connecticut in 1913.

This is an example of the Bisley variant of the Colt Single Action Army revolver. The primary differences were a lower hammer spur and a more curvaceous grip frame. These were optimized toward target shooting but many general users and shooters who were not simply target shooters preferred them as well. This one would have paired very well with a Winchester Model 1892 in the same cartridge!

The overall condition is very good. The action is excellent. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. The grips are solid. The grips and frame match, while the grip frame and trigger guard numbers match.

This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic.

Barrel is 5-1/2 inches.

Caliber: .38-40 Winchester Center Fire

Overall condition as seen in photos.
