1918 Mfg. Winchester model of 1907 Takedown Semi-Auto Rifle chambered in .351Self Loading Centerfire Winchester cartridge. Wearing a 20 inch Blued barrel with adjustable ladder sights.
The Model 1907 was a popular rifle with law enforcement in the United States during much of its production - especially in the 1930s when the police in the United States were upgrading their firearms due to the increase in crime. The Federal Bureau of Investigation acquired some Model 1907 rifles in response to the 1933 Kansas City Massacre.[13] It was used by Patrol Inspectors of the U.S. Border Patrol during the late 1920s into the 1930s.[14] Great Depression-era bank robbers such as the Dillinger Gang used modified M1907s during their crime sprees.
The rifle has a detachable box magazines holding 5,10, or 15 rounds. This rifle comes with a five and ten round mag.wood and Blued finish are excellent on the gun with no cracks or finish loss. Action works well as intended. Good bore with strong rifling. Winchester plastic butt plate.
