Description:
28 inch barrels with solid ribs and 2-3/4 inch chambers. Both ribs have the makers mark " Simson Suhl(Thuringen). Barrel "1" is choked improved modified and full. Barrel "2" is choked full and full. Barrels retain most of their original blue with slight wear and thinning. The frame and side plates have exceptional engraving. The left side has an Elk scene and the right side has a hound and pheasants. There is beautiful scrolls and oak leaf as well as geese on the bottom and quail on the trigger guard. The underlugs have the numbers"1" and "2" respectively. The beautiful grained walnut stocks are in very good condition with checkered forearm and grip and a horn grip cap. LOP is 14-1/2 inches to the end of a ventilated recoil pad. Stock has a shadowline cheekpiece on the left side. This is just a beautiful 2-barrel set of o/u 12 gauge shotguns.
