Description:
Serial #50602, .32 RF, 5" octagon barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a truly handsome revolver that has matching assembly numbers ("58") on the frame, cylinder, and barrel, with the metal retaining 85-90% of the original bright blue finish, and the balance flaked to a smooth plum-brown patina due to poor storage. There is a light turn-ring on the cylinder, and almost all of the original color case-hardening remains on the ejector rod and hammer. The rosewood grips are numbered to the gun, and are in fine shape with only some minor handling marks marring the original varnish. The lock-up is very tight, with no lateral play in the barrel, and the action functions flawlessly. This is a fabulous S&W No. 2, and is in excellent condition overall. Antique
