Description:
"NSN, circa 1860's, .52 caliber, 40"" round barrel. Barrel and receiver are a bright grey patina with scattered areas of oxidation visible, two pronounced spots by the middle barrel band. Bore is very good with light frosting visible in grooves, rifling remains strong. Stock has expected nicks, dings and scratches. Only marking found is Nepalese writing behind the rear sight. It is speculated that these Sharps were made by D.C. Hodgkin's & Son during the war, after the war these rifles and parts were sold to Nepal. Action functions correctly.
