Turnbull custom Winchester 1873 .45 Colt. Based on a Grade IV Navy of recent manufacture, serial 00022ZT73W has a 24-inch octagon barrel (full-length magazine tube, brass-beaded blade front sight). The receiver, hammer, lever, cap and checkered butt plate wear brilliant color case in contrast to rust blue over the barrel, tube, dust cover and trigger. The well-figured walnut is dressed with 26 lines-per-inch wrap checkering and a semi-gloss finish. The original Winchester box with correct end label, manual and oversleeve is included. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 8.0 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.35 inches. CONDITION: Unfired since proof. Metal finishes are as new. Wood is approximately 98 percent, owing to light marks in surface finish on butt left. The price is firm and layaway is available. $4,250 plus shipping.
