This 1950 Marlin 336 A (Rifle not Carbine) with 24" barrel and 2/3 mag is in good condition. As a 1950 it is the lst year that desirable 35 Rem was offered in this model (this known as the lst version of A's were produced from 1948 to 1962 after which time some changes were made)
This early lst year (for cal) is a good example; no meaningful marks on wood or metal. There are minor imperfections to the blue on the receiver but the blue on the barrel as well as the bore are very nearly perfect. The correct "waffel top" is not drilled or tappef ro scope. There is a chip in the plastic butt plate but the but is NOT chipped or broken) This is the original Ballard Rifled somewhat rare. It is JM marked.
