Description:
Serial #70-35383, .30-06, 22" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1974-made rifle that retains practically all of the original blue finish on the metal, with the exception of the hollow bolt handle which has some minor oxidation on the interior. The beautifully figured, checkered walnut stock has virtually no wear or handling marks, however, there is a single short stress crack on the left side at the tip of the tang. The rifle is outfitted with a red Ruger recoil pad. The rifle is housed in the original, numbered Ruger cardboard shipping box with scope rings, and is also accompanied by a 2022-dated Ruger factory letter that lists a shipping date of January, 1974 to Jerry’s Sport Center of Olyphant, PA. This is a handsome, early Model 77, in nearly excellent condition, and would make a stellar addition to any collection. FFL or C&R
