This Beretta A400 Xplor Semi-Auto Shotgun is chambered in 12 gauge and shoots 2-3/4" and 3" shells interchangeably without having to adjust anything, making it an extremely versatile shotgun equally well-suited for upland game, duck hunting or shooting sporting clays. The receiver comes with scope mount grooves to accept optical sights. The A400 Xplor Action features 2 advanced recoil reduction systems that reduce felt recoil by as much as 70%. The spring-loaded Kick-Off features shock absorbers in the stock, and a Micro Core Butt pad, constructed of an advanced polymer, allows the gun to shoulder smoothly without catching or snagging as some types of rubber butt pads do. The A400 semi-automatic shotgun uses Beretta's Blink operating system that cycles superfast – capable of shooting 4 shots in less than 1 second. The A400's action features a rotating bolt, and a self-cleaning piston to ensure the shotgun operates in all conditions and is low in maintenance. To aid in producing consistently uniform shot patterns, Beretta uses their Steelium for the barrel, a nickel-chromium-molybdenum steel. Chrome-plated bores guard against corrosion and make cleaning much easier. An elongated forcing cone, and Optima-Bore HP interchangeable, screw-in chokes enhance uniform patterns and allow shooter to use both lead and steel shot. The A400 Xplor has a bronze finished receiver that looks great in contrast with the finely finished wood. The Beretta A400 Xplor Action is a highly advanced Semi-Auto Shotgun that cycles fast and shoots softly. Comes with a Gun Pod electronic assistant device that allows the shooter to access to data such as number of total shots fired and outside temperature displayed all on the hilt of their shotguns' pistol grip. 12 Gauge
