Description:
Serial #76780, .32 RF, 3 1/2" barrel with a very good bore that has some minor freckling and pitting within the grooves. This is a great looking revolver that has matching assembly numbers ("C 5") on the frame, cylinder, and barrel, with the metal retaining 92-95% of the original bright blue finish, with some fading at the muzzle and silvering along the high and exposed edges. There is a very faint turn-ring on the rear of the cylinder, and some very minor pitting on the face. Most of the original color case-hardening remains on the ejector rod and hammer, with some gray metal visible on the sides of the hammer. The rosewood grips are numbered to the gun, and are in fine shape with only some minor handling marks scattered about the original varnish. The lock-up is very tight, with no lateral play in the barrel, and the action functions flawlessly. This is a great little S&W No. 1 1/2, and is in excellent condition overall. Antique
