2000 August Francotte A Leige imported and designed by Griffin & Howe 470 Nitro Express double rifle.
Beautiful Francotte boxlock ejector 470 Nitro Express made in Belgium and imported by Griffin & Howe. 23 3/8" barrels. LOP is 15" to the front trigger. Weight is 9.5 lbs. Double triggers. (1) standing 50 yard sight and (2) folding sights for 75 and 100 yards. Trapdoor grip cap. It is inexcellent condition and the bores are clean with sharp rifling. S/N is D1016. I'm selling this for my client who purchased it new in 2000 and used it on a few safaris, killing his first elephant with it. I also have ammo avialable for purchase.
Also included is a Murray leather shellholder and two snap caps.
