The grips pictured are representative of the grips you will receive. Because these grips are made from natural Elk Horn no two will ever be the same shape and color. They are made to your order and can be made to fit Original Model 1858 Remingtons, Pietta Model 1858 Remington Reproductions and Uberti Model 1858 Remington Reproductions. We require you send us a tracing of your grips by USPS Mail. E-mail will not do! These grips are intended to give your 1858 Remington a vintage look. When you receive your grips you may have to do a bit of minor fitting. The grips shown here are on a Uberti Model 1858 Remington. Remember they are natural material and may have some minor imperfections. They are not as dense as ivory and can have noticeable porous areas.
NOTE: For best fit we prefer to have your revolver.
If you are not comfortable with that, we can work from your Original grips.
In that case you may nave some fitting to do, either way the price is the same.
