Smith & Wesson was basically the first to market a bored through cylinder revolver in large numbers. They started with the model 1 in .22 R.F. and then moved up to .32 R.F. with the #2. This one has full function and locks up tight, the bore is bright with strong rifling. A 6 shot with a 6” barrel, with a mix of patina and about 70% blue still showing. The rose wood grips are in fantastic shape especially for its age. This 3 pin was made prior to May 1st, 1965 and carries serial number 30,752. At 77 I have to start thinning my collection and passing them on to those that appreciate what I have collected over the years. I also know I have more latitude in selling an antique but even those I'll rather ship to an FFF.
