This listing is for my Smith & Wesson Model 657, no dash, 41 Magnum revolver with 3 inch barrel. I bought this gun 10 years ago and have only fired it at my range in those 10 years. I have probably shot it between 500 and 1000 rounds, mostly with "41 Special" rounds using cast bullets. The recoil is very manageable with the magnum loads and the Hogue rubber grips I had on it, but the lighter cast bullet loads were just more fun to shoot! When I bought it, I put the Hogue grips on it and put the original wood grips in the safe, just now putting the wood grips back on for the photos in its original configuration. Due to my age and arthritic hands, I am having to let my larger handguns go and now shoot mostly 38 Specials and 22's. As you can see from the package- over 2000 bullets, 350 cases, and accessories- I intended to use this one a lot longer than has happened. My 657 is the most beautiful of all the Smiths I have owned. I know it will make its new owner proud.
The revolver is in excellent overall condition. It has a couple of minor scratches and a light turn line. The bore is excellent. The action is excellent and tight. Everything works as it should. The original wool grips have 98% original finish. I believe this revolver was made in 1986 or 1987.
I would like to sell the revolver and all that goes with it in one package if I possibly can. Included are: a) the revolver, b) the Hogue monogrip, c) one set of Lee reloading dies, d) one HKS #57M speedloader, e) 500 Extreme plated bullets # 41-210FP, f) 500 Remington hollow base 210 gr. cast bullets sized 410/411, g) 825 Valiant 215 gr cast bullets sized .410, h) Full box of 100 Nosler 210 gr. .410 hollow point jacketed bullets #43012, i) Full box of 100 Sierra 210 gr. .410 JHC bullets, #8520, j) about 1/2 box of Sierra 170 gr. .410 JHC bullets # 8500, k) 50 rounds new brass, l) 300 rounds fired brass, 3 bags of 10 bullets each of sample bullets, m) padded hard case to ship the revolver.
The revolver will ship from my FFL dealer to yours. The bullets and accessories will ship via USPS flat rate boxes. It will require 2 or 3 flat rate boxes to safely get them to you. I will pay for shipping the revolver if you will pay the $50 for shipping the bullets and accessories, making the total $2050. I require USPS Money Orders as payment and you can include a paper copy of the FFL with your payment, or have the FFL emailed to me.
