Description:
1912 Colt Bisley Flat Top Target chambered in 32-20 with a 7 1/2'' barrel and factory original charcoal blue finish. These are quite rare as there were only 131 manufactured in this configuration. Per the included Colt archive letter it was shipped to Chas Brathoupt February 9, 1912. As seen in the photos the finishes in excellent condition. It shows signs of light and scattered wear and handling but no real major detractions. Overall the finish rates 97%. All four clicks are crisp in the lock up is tight. The bore is bright and shiny with strong lands and grooves. The factory grips remain in excellent condition with sharp checkers throughout and minor fading. This 112 year old example will be tough to upgrade.
