The Model 1907 is a recoil operated autoloading pistol. Just above the safety lever is a cocking lever that appears to be a hammer even though this is a striker fired pistol. In .45 ACP it was actually a contender for US duty pistol finally won by the Colt 1911. Nice little piece in .32 ACP. 7.65MM (.32 ACP)
