This Colt No. 3 deringer has the very low serial number of 327 on the barrel and frame. The 41 rimfire caliber barrel has a very good bore with frosting in the grooves. The barrel has the typical large italic COLT on the top. The left slide of the frame is marked 41 CAL The barrel retains traces of its nickel plating with the remainder being a smooth bright gray. The frame retains approx. 50% of its nickel finish with the loss being on the sides. The grips are very good with usage dents on the right bottom. The action functions correctly. This standard configuration No. 3 is unusual for its very low serial number and later features.
