Description:
SOLD      This Smith & Wesson 357 Magnum Post War Pre 27 was produced around 1954. The pistol's serial number is S- 139378. It has the 5 Inch pinned barrel chambered to shoot the 357 Magnum cartridge. This pistol is in near new condition. The bore and chambers are in minty condition. This pistol has been shot very few times with a very faint surface wear on the recoil plate face. This pistol also has the usual faint drag line between the cylinder bolt stops. The hammer and trigger have stunning color cased finish. The grips have the correct diamond point around the grip screw. This 5 screw frame has the early fine checkered top strap and barrel rib. The rear sight is fully adjustable. There is a slight blue loss on either side of the seam where the front sight is mounted to the barrel rib. The original bluing would rate a 98% overall condition. This is a really stunning looking big frame Smith & Wesson with the color cased hammer, trigger and wrap around grips! The box of 357 Magnum shells is for display only and not for sale!
