We are offering for sale a RARE Japanese Arisaka TYPE 2 PARATROOPER bolt action rifle chambered in 7.7mm. This RARE gun is even better with INTACT MUM mark and BOLT DUST COVER!! Incredible find!! This appears to a MATCHING NUMBERS RIFLE!
25 1/4" barrel is very good with nice finish showing light wear; The bore remains bright with crisp rifling. This early example comes with the scarce AIRCRAFT SIGHT with fold downs. The action is very good with nice finish; FULLY INTACT MUM MARK. Bolt action functions flawlessly. DUST COVER INTACT! The serial numbers on Receiver, Bolt Handle and Dust Cover match. The number on either side of the takedown are marked "377". Takedown functions properly. The original stock is good; It does have a 4" closed crack on the right side of stock coming from the takedown frame. Trigger guard, floorplate and buttplate show blue loss, surfae wear.
