Description:
Three NOS TANNER (OEM) CISM rifle magazines are offered. All are unused, but have light scratching from storage and landing. Please read carefully. Matching Tanner magazines with the rifle can be complex.
These magazines are for the newer model CISM, 10 rd repeater Tanner rifles. They cannot be used on the single shot rifles, and will not fit the older Tanner CISM rifles that use an external spring clip to retain the magazine in the rifle, or have a rounded profile to the front of the magazine. These magazines are retained in the rifle via a "dog" or key that extends from the magazine well area into the base of the magazine. See the cutout for this in the images.
Three magazines are offered. They are not identical. One is designed for the .308 or .243 Winchester cartridges, and is marked as such. The 7.5x55 Swiss cartridge and rifle can use this magazine but the cartridge sometimes is fatter, and the capacity reduces to 9 rounds for some of those 7.5mm cartridges. They are offered as a group of 3 because all can be used for the 55mm cartridges, but they can be considered for purchase singly or as a pair.
The 6mm BR magazines (two are available) are the basic .308 but add a sidewall inset and a removable rear spacer to accomodate the shorter length overall of that cartridge. As a result, these magazines can be used with .308 or 7.5 cartridges, but will not hold the full 10 rounds (generally only 9 fit).
These 6mm BR magazines will not fit the older 6mm Tanner rifles, which use a smaller magazine well. As a result, making or adding a spring clip to retain the magazine will not permit these to be used. The overall magazine size is too large.
As information, the usual cost of a single magazine of this type in the USA for Tanner or Bleiker rifles is over $400 each. However, pricing is flexible, and the magazines can be returned for refund minus for shipping if, despite all efforts, they do not fit. The listed price is for the set of 3 magazines, which interchange somewhat. If only one or two of the group are desired, email for per magazine pricing.
Please remember, while listed overall as .308, all of the magazines fit several calibers but modification is needed for some of them. Only one offered is marked as being for .308 or .243 Winchester, but the 6mm BR can be modified to accept those calibers, with less than 10 rounds fitting into the magazines, and 7.5x55 also can be used.

While these magazines can be modified to conform to the older magazines, this is a difficult process, and not to be undertaken lightly, even by experienced metalworkers.
