The XR920P features an all-steel compensator which directs propellent gasses upward and keeps the gun on target. Shadow Systems compensated guns are designed to function in adverse conditions. We prioritize reliability but still provide the most controllable, easiest to hit with pistols on the market. The highly compact steel compensator adds only ½ inch to the pistol. Consequently, the XR920P fits in existing G17 holsters. The compensator uses the patent pending QD attachment system found on the successful CR-P pistol. This allows for ease of maintenance and sales in jurisdictions that ban threaded barrels. With this design, it eliminated the use of a conventional threaded barrel. Instead, Shadow Systems developed a proprietary 3-lug muzzle that works in combination with a centrally located locking lever in the body of the comp.
