Description:
Very nice Cased Grade IV Browning 16 ga with 2 barrels, both numbered to the gun. First barrel is a 28” Full with a solid rib, second barrel is about 26” solid rib with a Lyman choke. Made in 1926 for the world market and sold to one of FN’s more well known distributors. This gun has factory information as seen by the letter between a Cabelas representative and Mr Anthony Vanderlinden. No information is given on the wood configuration of the gun from the FN contact. It is our opinion that the forearm is not factory. The small details of the stock seem so correct, and the grain of the wood of the correct time period, that we believe the stock to be factory. Stored in a timeless Hartmann case, this combination will not disappoint!
