This is a near-mint example of an exceptionally rare Mauser Banner Luger issued to the Nazi police force in 1939. Only about 850 guns of this configuration were ever produced. It is all matching, has a police sear safety, and has an "Eagle K" marking on the right side of the slide. It also has the proper "Crown U" proofs. The magazine is matching numbered to the pistol but appears to be either post-factory or done at the police arsenal. This particular pistol has retained nearly all of its original finish. Just hints of wear around the muzzle and high edges and a hint of thinning on the grip straps. Fitted with mint matching-numbered wood grips. Beautiful bore.
