Description:
This is a rare British No. 7 Mk. 1 bayonet with a sharpened blade length of 7 7/8", overall measurement of 12 3/8". The blade shows a bit of mottled oxidation in very good to excellent condition, the ricasso is marked with No. 7 Mk 7 /L and Broad Arrow. The reddish brown handle are in fine condition with correct nut and screw fasteners. The perfectly functioning pommel is marked "MADE IN UK" and shows almost no sign of use. The pommel swiveled so as to be used as a bayonet or a trench knife. The bayonet over-all shows very little use or handling.
