Description:
20 inch barrel carbine configuration chambered in the desirable 44 WCF caliber. A very good near excellent shiny bore. Original sights include a blade front and a carbine folding ladder rear. Barrel and mag tube have most thinning blue remaining but unfortunately have lots of small light pitting scattered at the muzzle and along the bottom of the mag tube. Crisp markings and barrel address. Receiver is a plum/brown patina with good blue in the protected areas around the side plates. Original saddle ring. Very faint traces of case color on hammer and lever. Crisp action. Walnut stocks look good on the left side but show small chatter marks on the right side. Not sure what it was bouncing on. Still not a bad looking Winchester carbine. It is a later gun being in the 613k serial range. Factory letter shows that it was made in 1907.
