Has some great figure in the wood, particularly on the right side of the buttstock. Beautiful bright bore with sharp rifling. Nice unsanded stock with crisp cartouche. Almost all of the color case hardening is still present on the block. Rifle has seen service and shows some bluing loss where the bayonet attaches but survives in outstanding original condition looking just about how it would have after a few months in service 130+ years ago. A very fine Trapdoor in excellent condition which ought to be a superb inclusion into a private collection or museum. Antique, so no FFL required as long as you are not in a jurisdiction which prohibits direct shipping of pre-1898 arms to unlicensed collectors.
