For your consideration, the Springfield Armory 1903 Mk 1 bolt-action rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield. The Mk1 was manufactured from 1918 to 1920, just after World War 1. The 1903 had a production run from 1903 into World War 2, the Mk 1 is interesting because of its ability to accept the Pedersen Device. With the receiver being cut to accommodate the ejection of the .30 cal pistol casings from this experimental device. .30-06 Springfield
