Dakota Arms Model 76 .338 Winchester Magnum. Serial 1595 has a 23-inch barrel (tapering to .650-inch at muzzle). Features include a rust blue finish, full-length claw extractor, three-position safety, recessed bolt release, cloverleaf tang, steel bottom metal and a tuned trigger. STOCK: Shaped from a AA-grade walnut blank in the classic style and wearing a satin finish, appointments include panel checkering, a steel grip cap and rounded sling swivel studs. The action is bedded at the recoil lug and the barrel its full length. Dakota scalloped bases are attached. No box or papers. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 7.8 pounds with bases and length-of-pull is 13.5 inches. CONDITION: The bore is pristine. Metal finish is approximately 99 percent. Wood is approximately 97 percent with trace impressions from handling and storage. The price is firm and layaway is available. $4,500 plus shipping.
