Description:
This is a very rare 12th to 13th Century Armor Piercing Dagger made by
Moromitsu, Bishu-Ju. OEI period is (1394-1428). The Hamon is Sweep Back “Ichimai” and is 9 1/8” to the grip. The blade is .413 thick and .80” wide. This is a very early and beautifully made Armor Piercing Dagger. The kogatana is not old, probably late 19th century. The overall length is 13 7/8” from the Saya tip to the Kashira.
