"Serial number 350477. Made in 1929. 45LC caliber with a 4 ¾" barrel. This gun is in excellent condition with 95%+ of the original blue finish and bright case colors. This gun was engraved by Wilbur Glahn. It comes with a factory letter. This gun was returned twice before being shipped to E. S. Sporting goods in Austin Texas. The letter confirms the factory engraving and caliber. The barrel letters as a 5 ½", but the barrel on this gun is a 4 ¾" and has a two line address meaning it is an original length barrel. Either the gun left the factory with a 4 ¾" barrel from the start, or more likely it was switched out during one of the times back and forth. The grips are noted as being switched from ivory to pearl when it was shipped to E. S. Sporting goods. Very fine example of a Factory Engraved Colt Single Action Army!
