Description:
Serial #NSN, .22 S,L,LR, 25 inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Winchester Model 72A bolt action rifle manufactured by Winchester from 1938-59. The barrel, magazine tube and receiver show about 85-90% of the original blue toning to plum-brown with scattered freckling with the trigger-guard, and sling swivels mostly brown. The stock is solid showing old contusions and scratches. Mechanically it functions properly with tight lock up and crisp trigger but the bolt handle is loose. This would be prime candidate for full restoration. FFL or C&R;
