Description:
This is a full box, 50 original rounds, of .38-44 S&W Gallery ammunition manufactured by U.M.C. with 70 grain round ball bullets and 6 grains of powder. The reduced powder load has the bullet loaded inside the case and the side label has a Smith & Wesson endorsement stating they are to be used in S&W target revolvers. The box is solid with light edge and corner wear and an intact primary and over 95% of the side seal label showing a very nice cartridge cut having some light flaking. The cartridges are in excellent condition. A seldom seen and short lived caliber.
