This is a 1862 Colt Police revolver. SN.30679 was made in 1865. The bore is good with no pitting and shows the rifling. The barrel, trigerguard and wedge all match. The backstrap has SN.3905. The cylinder SN is not readable. The Colt New York address is on the 5 1/2 inch barrel. The gun is tight and functions at half and full cock. Only 28,000 of these were produced and 70% of those were converted to cartridges. This one is as made and uses percussion caps and black powder. A must have gun for colt collectors. Shipping is $35.00 and includes Insurance and tracking Money back if not satisfied with buyer paying return shipping. I prefer Pay Pal for payment but also accept Money ordrs and personnal checks.
