"This is a very nice pair of cannon muzzle, turn-off barrel, center hammer, wire-decorated stocks with grotesque head butt cap percussion pistols by Freeman of London. The overall length is approx. 12"". The 5"" round 58 caliber smooth bore turn-off barrels feature a cannon muzzle, three decorative bands, London proofs, and a lug for the barrel wrench. They are polished bright and have scattered staining. Both pistols have a fine bore. The bright polished center hammer box locks are engraved in an open scroll pattern with the left bottom being marked ""FREEMAN"" and the right ""LONDON"". The polishing has made the markings light. The stocks have beautifully executed silver wire inlays with a crossed sword, spear, and cannon motif on the rear. The butt caps feature nicely done grotesque faces. The actions function properly. This is a very nice pair of pistols, especially with the wire inlaid stocks and grotesque butt cap. Don't miss this pair!
