From a mid-west sale, a Antique 32 rim fire cal. Remington Elliot ring trigger 4 Barrel Pepper Box Deringer in a glass front Presentation box. The metal finish is a mottled grey patina (see photos). The rose wood grips are solid with no cracks or chips (see photos). At the sale they said the serial number places it in the first production run in 1863. Four 32 rim fire cartridges are included, but I can not guarantee 100 year old ammo will fire. The pistol functions as it should; however, the mechanism is rough and the pistol needs professionally cleaned to function properly. The firing pin rotates to the next barrel each time it is cocked. The bores look good; however, I can not guarantee a 150 year old gun will shoot. I am far from an expert, everything looks correct to my untrained eye therefore, I am offering it with a 100% satisfaction guarantee, if it does not live up to your expectations in any way return it for a full and speedy refund including your return shipping (see my feedback).
